Ans) Two boy were surprised because they saw muddy
footprints in the street of London which were appearing from nowhere. They
chased them but to no help. They were clueless about the origin of footprints.

Ans) Landlord of Griffin was unhappy with him because of his
weird behaviour and short tempered nature. He wanted to eject Griffin from his house.

questioned him in the bar, he removed his bandages etc and became a headless man. He also
knocked constable Jaffer unconscious.
