save Johnsy’s life?
Ans1)Behrman was an artist. He always wanted to make a
master piece painting. On day he came to know about the illness of his
neighbour Jhonsy. He visited her. Johnsy’s companion Sue told him the real
problem. A thought had occupied the mind that she would die if the last leaf of
the creeper outside her window fell. In the night when weather was very stormy
and rainy Behrman went to the tree and painted an artificial leaf. It looked so
natural that Jhonsy thought that it was real. The leaf bore sustained the rough
weather. It reinstalled the faith in Jhonsy. She regained the hope to live.
Thus Behrman saved her life. But he
fell ill and died.
