Ans1) A traveling holy man when the mother of Santosh was expecting her sixth child. He gave her blessings for a son. But he was surprised when the grandmother requested blessing for a girl.

Ans2) She always opposed traditional ways. She wore shorts rather than wearing Indian Traditional dresses. She refused to marriage at the age of sixteen. Though her parents put great pressure on her, she left her home and came to Delhi for high school.

Ans7) Santosh yadav made records both the times when scaled Mount Everest. First time she was the youngest woman to scale the Everest and second time she was the only woman to scale it twice.
